Why it is in the sachet.
- Included for recovery after play, walks and training
- Chosen for gut support
- The headline peptide in every sachet, canine evidence still being gathered
Evidence: Preclinical pharmacokinetics. See the science below.
The science so far.
- A 2022 paper studied how BPC-157 is absorbed, distributed and cleared in rats and dogs. That is pharmacokinetics, not a test of benefit.
- Most BPC-157 claims come from rodent and laboratory work. Those results cannot simply be transferred to dogs.
- In the US, a product intended to treat or prevent disease in animals is an animal drug and needs legal marketing status first. BPC-157 has none for dogs.
Still being studied.
- Whether BPC-157 improves any condition in pet dogs. No controlled canine clinical trial has shown that.
- Long-term safety, interactions and product quality of what is sold online as research chemicals.
- Whether a compliant veterinary product could ever be developed. We will not sell it unless that is settled.
